Very quick update! We spent the morning with Vlado's family and packing up our things again. We visited the neighboring town of Čakovec as well, with his oldest daughter Ivana and her boyfriend, where we we walked around the local castle (!) and park. It was a great morning spent with the family filled with lots of delicious home cooking before we headed out with Vlado to Budapest. Budapest isn't too far from the border of Croatia, so by the afternoon we were at our accommodations and were so happy to finally see Fred and Francy!!! We're so excited to travel together for the next couple weeks through Budapest, Vienna, and Prague-- maybe we'll even have another guest post!
