Prague to Berlin

A few days in Berlin and it's become more obvious that this is the final leg of our trip.  We finally committed to buying our tickets home (back in the USA June 30th!) so despite the fact we still have about three months left (all in western Europe), it feels as though things are winding down a bit. It is also the part of the trip where we get to visit/travel a lot with friends and family-- Fred and Francy in Budapest/Vienna/Prague, Leif in Berlin, Kevin in Italy, Stephanie in London, and my Dad and Monica in Spain-- all really exciting, we've felt very lucky to get to travel with all of you!  Anyways, we've had a really wonderful couple days in Berlin with Leif and while we've seen a lot of the city, we've also gotten to recharge a bit and just hang out together which has really been lovely.  After taking the early bus from Prague Tuesday morning, we dropped our things at Leif's apartment and explored a couple parts of the city.  It's been nice to see the city with Leif who has been living here, it feels less like we're travelling and much more relaxed.  We've had some really great German food here (and also some amazing Ethiopian food!) and gotten to see a lot of the different neighborhoods in Berlin.  Some pictures...

It's been too short of a time in Germany, but tonight around midnight we land in Rome!
